| Warren
Grossman, Ph.D. is a graduate of Kent State University
and the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland’s postgraduate program.
Warren practiced conventional psychotherapy until
1987, when a trip to Brazil left him desperately ill and unable
to work for a year. Languishing as his illness failed to respond
to traditional medicine, his perceptions changed dramatically.
He found himself aware of the energy inherent in nature, and found
that he could draw on it to recover. He spent this year of convalescence
observing nature’s energy, and realizing that it was the
source of healing, available to all—our birthright.
Warren
has spent his last nineteen years paying attention to simple reality—
•
What it is like to stand on the earth, and to lie on it.
• How to love, as a moment-to-moment choice, not how to wait
for its fortuitous occurrence.
•
How to heal others by using nature, and the energy of the heart.
•
Teaching these natural skills to others.
He
has done this by:
•
Spending hours in nature, paying close attention to the meeting
place of his body and nature, and
•
Opening his heart—to intentionally love people in need.
This is the time honored process of healing. He fills his days healing
those in need, training healers and writing.
